How to blanch corn for freezing

Ingredients
Sweet Corn, Fresh, 6 ear, medium (6-3/4" to 7-1/2" long)Water
Directions
Husk Corn. Rinse. Place in large pot. If necessary, break ears in half. Cover with water completely. Place lid on pot.
Bring to a rolling boil.
[Do wall push-ups in the kitchen while waiting.]
Boil 5-10 minutes. Consider removing the lid.
Remove from boiling water with tongs and put in a large bowl or cake pan full of water mixed with ice to cool.

After cooled, cut corn from the cob with a serrated knife.
Can use food channel method of sitting one end on the center of bunt pan and collect the kernels in the base.
Freeze in baggies the size you need. Date.
