Ingredients
Boiled Beef Ingredients:8C Water, tap,Beef chuck, 2 lb Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped Celery, raw, 2 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Parsley, 1 cup Carrots, raw, 2 cup, chopped Salt & pepper to tasteAdd all to boiling waterSimmer until meat is tender (2-3 hours)Remove from pan to rest for 10 minutes.Slice meat 1 1/2 inch thick slices & spoon gravy over.Dill Gravy Ingredients:Water, tap, 2 cup (8 fl oz) Butter, salted, 1 tsp 1 tsp sugarDill weed, fresh, 1/3 cup finely choppedVinegar, 1 tbsp Flour, white, 3 TCream, 1 cup Boil water, sugar, butter, dill & vinegarAdd 1/8 t saltIn small bowl mix flour & cream. Slowly add to dill mixture while stirring. Simmer until thickened.
