Gyro Sandwiches with Ground Turkey

Meat Mixture:1 lb ground turkey, 93% lean2 Tbsp water1 Tbsp lemon juice1 tsp salt (optional)1/2 tsp ground cumin1/2 tsp oregano1/2 tsp black pepper2 cloves garlic, pressed1 small onion, finely choppedDressing:1/2 C plain yogurt, fat free (Greek yogurt preferred)1 tsp dried mint 2 tsp sugar1 small cucumber, finely chopped
Mix the ingredients of meat mixture. Cook in a large skillet prepared with cooking spray until meat is no longer pink.
Meanwhile, combine ingredients for dressing. Set aside to allow flavors to marry.
To serve, spread approximately 2 Tbsp dressing in small pita (not included in calorie count); add approximately 2 oz of meat mixture.
Pockets may also be stuffed with diced tomato, cheese, olives, onions, etc.; not included in calorie count.
