Ingredients
Pineapples, preferably crushed, 1 CupMilk, 2%, 1 CupSugar, 3 teaspoons2 zippered bags --1 large freezer size bag-1 smaller bag that, when both are filled, fits comfortably in the firstabout 2 trays of ice cubes1 teaspoon salt, to go in the large bag with the ice, so it doesn't clump-Optional food processor, instead of bags, ice and salt, if making mousse
Directions
If making ice cream:
pour milk, pineapple, and sugar into the smaller bag, press out excess air, and seal. Put ice and salt into the larger bag, and then put the smaller filled bag into the larger bag. Seal the larger bag, and shake for about 5 minutes, turning often, so the ice milk is consistently cooled. When the ice milk consistency appears somewhat frozen, pout it out into two bowls and serve. It will be more like soft serve, and very yummy!

If making mousse, pour ice milk ingredients into a food processor with chopping blade, and whip until foamy. Makes 2 servings.

Note: I have used my processor to chop frozen pineapples, along with the milk and sugar, before putting the mixture into the bag for ice cream. This seems to work well for me, too,

Good luck!

I am guessing you are using canned pineapple over fresh due to the enzymes in fresh which will not usually fresh as well when combined with milk. - 8/9/10
