Taco Salad Remix

Ingredients
1/2 cup cooked kidney beans (or black or pinto)4 oz 93% ground beef 1 tsp dry onion 1/2 tsp chili powder 1/8 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon cumin 1/8 teaspoon EACH garlic powder and oregano 1/8 teaspoon pepper 1/3 cup tomato sauce 1/4 cup shredded 2% cheddar (kroger)
Directions
Cook the ground beef in a large skillet. When it is completely browned, drain the fat and rinse the meat in hot water. Return the meat to the skillet and add the beans, seasonings, and tomato sauce. Stir it all up and simmer it for a few minutes to blend the flavors. Sprinkle with cheese and serve over shredded lettuce. Add tortilla chips if desired
