Beet Greens sauted with bacon

Ingredients
Bacon, 2 slices thick cut, dicedBeet greens, fresh, 4 cups. trim stems and dice them 1/2" long, set aside. Roughly chop leaves (1" pieces)Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped Granulated Sugar, 1 TblPaprika, 1 tbsp 1/2 cup waterRed Wine Vinegar, 2 tbsp
Directions
Brown bacon
Add onions and stems, cook till onions are transparent
Lightly brown garlic
Add water, sugar, and paprika, return to boil
Put leaves on top, cover, cook 15 min
Add vinegar and serve
