Incredible Banana Bread- Healthier Version!

Ingredients
¾ c. white flour¾ c. whole wheat flour½ c. white sugar10 packets Splenda1 tsp. baking soda3 small very ripe bananas, mashed½ c. unsweetened applesauce2 egg whites1 tsp. vanilla extract*Optional: add 1/4-1/2 c. chopped walnuts for banana nut bread/muffins!
Directions
*Makes 1 loaf or 12 muffins, 1 serving= 1/12 recipe*

1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. If making a loaf of banana bread, spray a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray. If making muffins, muffin tin liners are recommended.
2. Combine the dry ingredients (flours, sugar, Splenda, and baking soda) in a bowl using a whisk.
3. Mix the wet ingredients (bananas, applesauce, egg whites,vanilla) in another bowl.
4. Stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until the ingredients are well combined. If making banana nut bread, you can add the walnuts here.
5. Pour the batter into the coated loaf pan or the muffin tins (be sure not to fill all the way of the muffins will over flow).
6. For banana bread, bake the bread for about an hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. For muffins, bake for about 20-25 mins. depending on your oven or until the tops are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
