Wheat Germ Cornbread

Ingredients
1c yellow cornmeal1c all-purpose flour1/2c wheat germ2tbs sugar (optional)4tsp baking powder1/2tsp salt1c milk (I use 1%)1/4c egg substitute1/4c vegetable oil
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 425F. Grease or spray an 8-inch baking pan or cast iron skillet.
2. In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients and combine until smooth.
3. Bake 20-23 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Makes about 10 servings.
