Grandma's Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients
Directions
1/2 Cup shortening1/2 Cup sugar1 egg1 Pint lukewarm water1 packet yeast (~3 tsp)1 tsp saltFlour (enough to stiffen to dough)margarine (or use Smart Balance type spread)cinnamon (~2 Tbs)brown sugar (~1-1 1/2 Cups)
mix first 6 ingredients well, then add flour (slowly) to 'stiffen' to dough. Let rise.
Roll out & spread with Smart Balance, then sprinkle with brown sugar & cinnamon. Roll up like jelly roll then slice (or use dental floss) to make ~1 inch rolls & place in greased/buttered dish & let rise ~20minutes before baking for ~20-24minutes @350F.
