seaspio2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil1.2 pounds Honey Suckle White 85/15 ground turkey1/2 small yellow onion, aprox. 3/4 cup, Chopped3/4 cup chopped Green Bell Pepper1 14oz. can Fire Roasted Tomatoes with Green Chilies2 15oz cans organic Pinto Beans2 Tablespoons Chili Powder1 Tablespoon Ground Cumin3/4 teaspoon ground corriander seed3/4 teaspoon celery salt1 Tablespoon fresh garlic, minced1 teaspoon dried Spanish Oregano2 teaspoons dried Parsley Flakes1 1/2 Cups of Water
In a large, heavy bottomed pot heat oil, add ground turkey and stir to crumble. Cook turkey until beginning to brown. Add onions and bell peppper, stir and continue to cook with the turkey meat until onion turn translucent. Add all dried spices and garlic, fry spices with meat and vegetables until the garlic aroma kisses your senses. Add in the tomatoes and pinto beans, mix thouroughly, stir in the water. Allow to simmer on a low - med/ low heat for about 45 minutes. It is done when the sauce begins to thicken.
Note: I like to freeze individual servings for whenever, I have a craving for Chili.
