Pumpkin Toffee Tarts

18 unbaked tart shells1 cup pumpkin puree1/3 cup brown sugar1/4 cup whipping cream2 eggs1 teaspoon vanilla1/2 teaspoon ground ginger1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon1/4 teaspoon grated nutmegtoffee bitschopped pecans
Preheat oven to 375º
Place tart shells on baking pan.
Whisk together the pumpkin, sugar, cream, eggs, vanilla and spices until well blended.
Spoon 1 teaspoon of toffee bits into each tart shell.
Fill tart shells almost to the top with the pumpkin mixture.
Sprinkle chopped pecans over top.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Serve plain or with a dollop of whipped cream.
Makes 18 servings of 1 tart per person.
