16 oz fat free cream cheese10 oz pkg 2% sharp cheddar cheese1 TBL chopped red bell pepper1 TBL finely chopped onion2 tsp Worcestershire sauce4 tps lemon juiceDash of ground red pepperDash of salt1/2 cup chopped pecans
makes 12 2 oz servings.
To soften cream cheese, microwave in a bowl on medium (50%) for 2 mins.
In large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese & Cheddar cheese with an electric mixer at medium speed until well blended. Add bell pepper, onion, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, red pepper and salt. Mix well. Chill for several hours or overnight.
Shape the cream cheese mixture into a log. As the mix is wet and sticky, suggest rolling it in plastic wrap to create the log. Garnish with pecans.
