If you use fat free milk, fat free sour cream, 98 % fat free cream of chicken soup, and add 2 more chicken breasts for six servings, it reduces the calories to 172 and the fat grams to 3.4 grams. - 8/16/11

This was great! Very flavorful and juicy! I ommitted the bacon bits and halved the sour cream and the sauce was a perfect consistency. I served it over brown rice and with a side of green beans! Will definitely make again! - 1/14/09

I love this its great !!! I took a few Opinions from other comments. 1 I left out the bacon and 2 I used healthy request cream of chicken soup. I left everything else the same. The salt is so much less. - 9/25/12

This is by far one of my faves. I prepared it according to directions for the most part. I used Hormel Real Bacon Pieces and only half of the Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning. I also used minced garlic and only 3 chicken breasts. YUMMY!!! - 12/5/11

My very picky eaters loved this recipe...not one complaint! I whomped it a bit, based on some of the comments, half the sour cream, added about 5 or 6 sliced potatoes to the bottom of the pot, cooked for 4 hours on low then 3 on high! It was perfect, the chichen moist and tender! Making it again! - 6/30/11

This was really good the first time around, but I have to say the leftovers were WAY better!!! I used frozen chicken for this recipe, but I think next time I cook it, I may brown the chicken before I put it in the crock pot for some more saturated seasoning. - 5/14/11

We loved this! I added a can of no-salt diced tomatoes during the last hour of cooking and served over whole wheat egg noodles. Yum! - 12/10/15

It tasted very good, but the sauce was a lot runnier than I expected. - 3/14/13

Tasty and my picky child ate it up! I also used half the sour cream. My husband suggested melting a bit of cheese over top. - 3/3/13

I thought this would be fantastic but it was just "good". Something I might make again but didn't really blow me away. - 8/18/12

Just a head's up - the chicken calories may not be accurate. The calories for the recipe are calculated using "4 units yield from 1 lb ready-to-cook chicken" (304 calories total) - which does not mean 4 chicken breasts. The ingredients call for 4 chicken breasts (1,038 calories total). - 1/16/12

I loved this recipe and will definately make it again - the recipe suggested making the no yoke noodles - which I did. However, I also served a salad with this meal, and most of the family members put the chicken with gravy and all right on the salad... it was great! - 1/15/12

Very good but it was pretty salty...and that says a lot coming form someone who loves salt! But my husband loved it. - 12/14/11

Pretty salty, but good. I'm going to try substituting yogurt for he sour cream to see if the sweetness offsets it. VERY easy & DH likes it! - 4/5/11

Not my favorite. I halved the sour cream and the sauce was the right consistency but the flavor didn't do it for me! - 12/29/10

This recipe would be good if you could eliminate some of the salt. The flavor of the salt is overwhelming, especially if you do not use a lot of salt on a regular basis. - 11/20/10

This was awesome! I'll be making it once a week, I used turkey bacon and added some diced red skin potatoes for the last 2 hours. Even my picky girlfriend who hates sour cream loved it!! - 10/23/10
