Cortney's Fettuchini Alfredo

Ingredients
1/4 cup chopped onion2 Tablespoons of minced garlic4 Tablespoons of butter1.5 cups of heavy cream3 chicken breasts (skinless and boneless)1 package of Italian blend cheese1 box of linguine noodles (I prefer these over fettuchini)
Directions
Put some water on to boil and cook your noodles. While the noodles are cooking go ahead and grill your chicken until done. Once done you can chop it up into small peices or slices. You can put this in the sauce or on top. To start the sauce add 3 tablespoons of butter to a saute pan and cook your onions and garlic for a little while. Add the cream and let cook down for about 3 minutes (to thin the sauce some you could add about 1/2 cup of chicken broth to this sauce to make it go farther). Once sauce has cooked down, stir in the other tablespoon of butter and then the chopped chicken if you choose. Add noodles to sauce and serve. I added chicken to my sauce and used a whole box of noodles so it yeilded about 8-9 1 cup servings. It may vary if you place the chicken on top of the noodles after serving up.

I serve with a side of brocolli. Really worth the extra calories.
