Ingredients
Directions
about a pound of frozen or fresh green beanscouple tbsp of olive oilsaltonion powdercajun seasoning
Heat oven to 400 degrees
1. Cut off ends of green beans if fresh and throw in a big ziplock baggie.
2. Add oil and "mush" around until they are covered. Add some sea salt, a bit of onion powder and a dash of cajun seasoning and continue to mix until coated.
3. Put on a cookie sheet in a thin layer and place in heated oven.
4. Check midway through. I took this opportunity to mix them up a bit and sprinkled with a bit more seasoning, then put back in the oven.
5. Keep a close eye on them around the 30 minute mark. They will start to brown and carmelize, but you don't want them to burn. Make sure they are crispy. Serve with ketchup or ranch dressing.
6. Store leftovers in the refrigerator in a baggie and microwave for a minute or so to crisp back up.
