Vegan Pumpkin Pecan Muffins

1 c. whole wheat flour1 tsp baking powder1/4 tsp salt3/4 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar2 TBS ground flaxseed4 TBS water1/2 c almond or soy milk2/3 c. chopped pecans1/2 c. canned pumpkin
Combine flour, baking powder, salt and brown sugar in a bowl and mix.
Add flax seed to water and let sit for a few minutes until congealed. Combine pumpkin, flax seed mixture and milk and add to dry mixture.
Add nuts.
If needed, add more another tablespoon of almond milk until consistency is correct.
Spoon mixture into muffin tins and bake at 350* for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick can be pulled cleanly from the center.
