Mamas Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
* *Potato, raw, 10 small (1-3/4" to 2-1/2" dia.) * Milk, 3.25%, 1 cup * Butter, unsalted, 2 tbsp * Salt, 1 tsp * Pepper, black, 1 tsp
Directions
1. Peel the skins off all the potatoes, quarter them length wise and then clip or cube them. Now rinse them.
2. Put the potatoes in a pot, add enough water to just cover the potatoes, and set to med-high heat. Let the water come to a boil. Boil potatoes until you can stick a fork in them easily. Generally 10-15 minutes.
3. Drain the water out. Reduce heat to low. Mash the potatoes, adding the milk and butter as you do so.
4. Once the potatoes are sufficiently mashed, ad a light covering of salt and pepper. Stir it up a little bit and then serve it out. Should make roughly 7 1 cup servings, give or take a cup.
