Layerd savoy cabbage light

Half of a savoy cabbage350g chicken breast fillet1 onion3cloves of garlic3 small green peppers2 medium tomatoes1 cup brown rice200g low fat yogurt3cups of chicken stocksalt, pepper, ground paprika, cumin, marjroam
- cut the savoy into 2 pieces, and cook them in a little water, with salt, pepper, cumin, marjoram.
- cook the rice in the chicken stock
- chop the green peppers, tomatoes
- cut the skinned, boned breast into small cubes
- heat the oil in a pan, wich has a cover, drop in the onion, and the pepper, fry them gently, then add the mashed garlic, and move from the heat
- put in the paprika, and the chicken cubes
- back to the heatstir for a few minutes, till the meat whiten, then season with salt, pepper, marjroam, cover, and cook for 30 minutes (add some water, if necessary)
- layer into a highwalled tin like this: cabbage leaves, rice, meat, rice, cabbage, seasoned yogurt
- cook in a preheated oven for an hour, and let cool for a few minutes

It took some time to prepare. Should have read the earlier ratings. But well worth the time. Absolutely delicious flavors. Had to guess at the amount of spices which I would rather not have had to do. Added 1/2 teaspoon of each to the meat mix and to the yogurt. That seemed to be good to taste. - 10/1/12
