Curried Cabbage with Peas and Potatoes

Ingredients
Cabbage, fresh, 4 cup, chopped (remove)*Potato, raw, 1 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.) (remove)Carrots, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)Peas, frozen, 1 cup (remove)Red Ripe Tomatoes, 1 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) (remove)Ginger Root, 1 tsp (remove)Garlic, 1 tsp (remove)Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)*Cumin seed, 1 tsp (remove)Turmeric, ground, .5 tsp (remove)Chili powder, .5 tsp (remove)Salt, 1 tsp (remove)
Directions
Cube potato, chop onion , cabbage and carrots. Heat oil add cumin, when it sputters add onion, brwon lightly add ginger, garlic and chopped tomoatoe. Add all dry spices and mix well. Add potatoes, peas and carrots; mix and cover. Cook on medium heat until the potatoes are tender, add chopped cabbage and cook uncovered until cooked. Serve with lentils and naan.
