Ingredients
Whole box of Wheat CrackersPackage HiddenValley Ranch Dressing Seasoning Mix1.5 cups Canola Oil1 tsp Garlic Powder1 tsp Ground Red Pepper (not cayenne)1 tsp Red pepper flakesEmpty Large Pickle Jar
Directions
You will need an empty large pickle jar, glass containers work better, plastic soaks up the oil instead of the crackers.

In a non-plastic bowl mix oil with seasoning mix and other seasonings. May need to alter the amount of ground red pepper for taste, this is where the crackers get the "hotness", I also have added sesame seeds before as an opitional. Whisk the seasonings with oil. Place two sleeves of the crackers in the pickle jar, add half the oil mixture and put lid on pickle jar and shift crackers around to coat them. Add the other two sleeves of crackers and the rest of the oil mixture, place lid on pickle jar and shift crackers around to coat them. The turning of the crackers in the jar will have to be done for about 30 minutes, until you notice that all the oil is not still sitting on the bottom. Crackers are usually ready after a 30 minute soak, but I have noticed that they're even better after sitting over night. They will keep for over a week in the jar, but somehow they never last that long.

Starting with pre-made crackers, then using a seasoning mix, isn't really a recipe. - 7/17/18

I love these crackers! This year I prepared them for a bake sale and they disappeared in 1/2 hour. These can be a little hot. If you don't like really spicy, tone down the red pepper flakes. - 12/17/15
