Oatmeal Raisin Flax Seed Applesauce Cookies

.5 cup Butter, salted.5 cup Applesauce, unsweetened1 cup Brown sugar, packed1 Egg (large)1 tsp Vanilla1.5 cups All-purpose Flour1 tsp Baking Soda.25 tsp Salt2 cups Quick-cooking rolled oats (not instant)3 tbsp Flax Seeds 1 C RaisinsCream butter, applesauce and brown sugar in large bowl. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well.Add four, baking soda and salt. Mix until no dry flour remains.Add oats and flax seeds. Mix well. Drop 1 tbsp each about 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes until golden.Makes about 3.5 dozen (42) cookies.
