Really Rich Banana Bread

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, melted1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce2 cups white sugar1 cup egg substitute2 teaspoons vanilla extract3 cups all-purpose flour2 teaspoons baking soda1 teaspoon salt1 cup sour cream1-1/3 cups and 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts5 medium bananas mashed
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease two 9x5 inch loaf pan.

2. In a large bowl, stir together the melted butter, apple sauce and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla, mix well.

3. In a separate bowl combine the flour, baking soda and salt, stir into the butter mixture until smooth. Finally, fold in the sour cream and bananas. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.

4. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Cool loaf in the pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
