banana nut bread

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter1 cup white or brown sugar2 large eggs2 cups flour1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp baking soda1 1/2 cups mashed bananas1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions
cream butter and sugar. add the eggs and beat well. combine the dry ingredients and stir into creamed mixture alternating with the mashed bananas. fold in the nuts last. Pout into a buttered loaf pan. let stand at room temp for 20 minutes ( this is when I turn the oven on) bake at 350 for 1 hr.
