squirrel dumplings

Ingredients
2 1 ib squirrels 2 Bay leaves1 cup of chopped onion1 cup of chopped celery10 medium baby carrots chopped2 tsp salt1/2 tsp pepperWater added to pressure cooker to cover squirrelDumplings2 c. whole wheat flour1/2 tsp salt4 tsp baking powder3/4 cup non fat milk
Directions
I pressure cooked the squirrel with the bay leaves at 15 pounds of pressure for 15 minutes. Then remove the meat from the bones. Added onion, celery, and carrots. Season with salt and pepper if desired. Cook this until the vegetables are done. For the dumplings, mix the flour, salt, and baking powders together, Add the milk and mix. You can roll these out if you like but I dropped by spoonfuls on top of the squirrel and veggies. Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until dumplings are done.
