Moose Stew

Ingredients
1/4 cup flour2 lbs chopped moose meat1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp pepper2 cloves garlic, minced2 1/2 cups vegetable juice cocktail2 tsp instant beef bouillon granules1/2 tsp dried based1/2 tsp dried thyme4 medium potatoes, chopped1 medium onion, chopped4 medium carrots, chopped1 cup celery, chopped4 cups sweet potato, chopped
Directions
Toss meat with flour, salt, pepper, garlic, thyme and basil and place in bottom of crock pot.

Add all other ingredients and cook on low for 10 - 12 hours (high 4-6 hours). Stir thoroughly before serving. Makes 40 100 gram servings

    Excellent! I didn't have v8 juice so I used a can of tomato soup and some beef broth. Also, I cooked in the oven at 325 for 4 hours, the meat was very tender and fell apart with a fork. Being garlic lovers, I doubled it and added a touch of cayenne. Thank-you so much! - 11/8/12
