Creamy Parmesan Orzo

Ingredients
1 T. butter1 c. Orzo1 1/4 c. fat-free, less sodium chicken broth1 1/4 c. water1/2 c. grated fresh Parmesan cheese2 T. chopped fresh basil1/4 t. salt1/4 t. pepper1 T. pine nuts, toasted1 c. diced fresh asparagus
Directions
Heat butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add Orzo and cook 3 minutes or until it starts to brown, stirring constantly. Stir in broth and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, stir in asparagus and simmer until liquid is absorbed and Orzo is done - about 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in cheese, basil, salt & pepper. Sprinkle with toasted pine nuts. Serve immediately.
