Cornmeal Scrapple

1 c. yellow cornmeal1 c. 1% milk1 t. sugar1 t salt2-3/4 c. boiling water8 ounces Jimmy Dean 50% Less Fat sausage, cooked, drained and crumbled.
In a saucepan, combine cornmeal, milk, sugar and salt. Gradually stir in the water. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Reduce heat, cover and cook 10 minutes longer until very thick. Stir occasionally.
remove from heat and stir in the cooked sausage. Pour into a greased loaf pan. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate. To serve, unmold and slice in 1/3 inch slices. Dip both sides in flour and fry in melt4ed butter over medium heat until brown on both sides. Serve with syrup.
