Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Ingredients
1/2 lb. butter1 c. firmly packed brown sugar1/2 c. granulated sugar2 eggs1 tsp. vanilla1 1/2 c. all purpose flour1 tsp. baking soda1 tsp. cinnamon1/2 tsp. salt3 c. Quaker oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)1 c. raisins
Directions
Heat oven to 350.
Beat together butter & sugars until creamy. Add eggs & vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon & salt; mix well. Stir in oats & raisins; mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 min. or until golden brown. Cool 1 min. on cookie sheet; remove to rack. Makes 4 dozen.
