Guilt Free Alfredo

Ingredients
8 oz uncooked whole wheat fettuccine1 1/4 cup fat free reduced sodium chicken broth4 tps. flour ( I like wheat flour)1/2 cup light cream cheese or Neufchatel cheese3 TBS grated parmesan cheesedash of ground nutmegsalt and pepper to taste
Directions
Makes four dinner sized portions

Cook pasta according to package instructions. Meanwhile, melt butter in skillet, and stir in flour. Slowly add chicken broth until combined. Stir in cream cheese, cook two minutes, stirring constantly until mixture boils and thickens. Add parmesan cheese, and stir until combined. Add salt and pepper to taste, and toss with pasta. If desired, you can toss in some grilled chicken or shrimp for a more filling main course.
