It's ok. The recipe was easy to make but, I like to have a lot of color in my food. Between the ground beef, beans, and wheat tortilas it was all brown. Needs more seasoning and color. - 1/7/11

I used 93% lean ground beef. Also, I used a can of black beans for the refried. I used Rotel tomatoes with cilantro and lime and picante place of salsa, 1/2 t dried cilantro, 1 t cumin, 1T chili powder, 1 sm diced onion, 1 tsp chopped garlic and reduced fat cheese. Hubby asked for seconds! - 10/8/12

Great starter base.Tasted really Good, I added onion and low sod.taco seasoning and green chilies to the meat mix. For even more flavor.Topped with lettuce and tomato, fat free sour cream. Very filling. Although scooping it up on plates at first doesn't look very appetizing. Tastes good! - 4/9/12

We loved this recipe so much---I made it twice this week. The first time I used ground turkey, a can of black beans , 1/2 jar of salsa, half onion, garlic and a teaspoon of cumin. The second time, I used two cooked, shredded chicken breasts and threw in some leftover rice as well. Yum!!!! - 10/4/11

Enjoyed this very much, we added red peppers and mushrooms, just a touch of taco seasoning, we topped ours with tomatoes, sour cream, salsa , and baby spinach leaves. Will be making again - 6/5/11

Tastes a lot like a Taco Bell bean burrito. My daughter loved it. I think it needs lettuce, tomato, sour cream. - 4/21/11

I liked the shredded carrots in it! I've made something like this before, but it had corn. Carrots are better. Thanks for sharing. - 6/7/14
