Granulated Sugar, .5 cup Butter, salted, .5 cup Milk, 1%, .5 fl oz Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp Egg, fresh, 1 large *Flour, white, 1.25 cup cream of tartar, 1 tspbaking soda, .5 tspsalt, .25 tsp
In a large bowl, beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add milk, vanilla, and egg; blend well. Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt; mix well. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate 3 hours until firm.
Heat oven to 425F. Roll dough, 1/3 at a time, to 1/8" thickness. Keep remaining dough refridgerated. Bake for 3 to 5 minutes.
