6 Cups mixed berries, thawed if frozen3/4 Cups packed brown sugar1/4 cup minute tapiocaJuice of 1/2 lemon1 tbsp ground cinnamon6 tbsp cold butter, cut into pieces1/2 cup rice flour1/2 cup sliced almond
1. Preheat oven to 375 F. Grease sides and bottom of 8 or 9 inch square baking pan.
2. Place berries in a large bowl. Add 1/4 cup sugar, tapioca, lemon juice and cinnamon. Stir until well combined and let stand while preparing the topping.
3. Place butter, remaining sugar and rice flour in food processor. Pulse until coarse crumbs form. Add almonds; pulse until combined.
4. Tranfer berry misture to prepared pan. Sprinkle topping over berries. Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until topping is browned and filling is bubbling.
