Vanilla Crescents

Butter, salted, 210 grams (remove)Granulated Sugar, 30 grams (remove)*Splenda, 50 grams(remove)Almonds, ground, 100 grams (remove)*Flour, white, 2 cup (remove)*Baking Powder (Calumet), 1 tsp (remove)Vanilla Extract, 1 tbsp (remove)Icing Sugar (to dust after baking), 50 g (remove)
1. cream butter, sugar/Splenda and Vanilla,
2. add flour/baking powder/ground almonds mix,
3. dough should be soft but not sticky
4. form 48 small balls between hands,
5. then roll each ball into 1 1/2- 2" long rolls
6. place these on cookie sheet so each resembles crescent
7. bake at 325 degrees for approx 20 min. - do not let them get brown
8. dust immediately with sifted icing sugar BEFORE trying to remove them from the cookie sheet - let them cool before attempting to lift them.
