Ingredients
1 lb. ground turkey (93% lean)1/2 medium onion, chopped3 cups tomato sauce (low-sodium)4 cups potatoes, diced4 cups water1-3/4 tsp Tabasco sauce
Directions
Brown the turkey in a pan over medium heat.
Drain to remove excess fat.
For the easiest method to cook any soup, I recommend using a slow cooker.
Pour the ground turkey into the cooker, along with the onion, potatoes, tomato sauce, and water.
Bring to a boil.
Once boiling, add the Tabasco sauce.
Simmer until the potatoes are soft -- at least one hour. Add salt and pepper to taste.
ENJOY!!!
*This is a VERY hearty soup which we usually have as our main course.
**For those very picky meat eaters, you can add one or two cubes of beef bullion to the soup, after it's boiling.

I made this with shredded turkey It was good. I like more vegetables in my soup. I just omitted the hot sauce. We like bland but flavorful food. Pat in Maine. - 2/2/15

The ground turkey got dry in the crock pot. Shredded chicken may be better. I may try it again with that and maybe some veggies to give it a bit more pizazz. It wasn't bad though! - 1/21/10

Very good. I did use the 99% fat free ground turkey and no salt tomato sauce. Husband loved it. - 7/12/08
