Basic tomato sauce (for pizzas/bolognaise)

Ingredients
1 red pepper1 yellow pepper1 green pepper1 can chopped tomatoes0.25 cup tomato puree (paste)1 red onionsugar (add s required to remove tartness of tomatoes)
Directions
Dice all vegetables, add to blender with tinned tomatoes/paste. Blend until all lumps removed. Add sugar as required normally no more than a tsp to remove tartness of tomatoes.
Once blended pass through a sieve to remove excess water.
Normally makes about 5 1-cup portions and can be used for pizza topping sauce or basic pasta sauce
