Shrimp Scampi a la Jim

Ingredients
18 Medium Shrimp, shell and tail removed3 tbl Unsalted Butter3 tbl EVOO2 clove Garlic, chopped1 Shallot1 tsp Italian Seasoning1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper1 tbl Dried Basil1 tbl Dried Oregano1/2 tsp Fennel SeedSalt and Pepper to taste6 oz Angel Hair Pasta1/2 Cup Chicken Stock
Directions
1. Prepare Pasta according to Package Directions
2. In large saute pan, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat
3. Add Shallot and Garlic, saute for 2 minutes, make sure not to burn garlic
4. Add spices and continue to saute
5. Add chicken stock, bring to soft boil
6. Add Shrimp and cook for about four minutes, turning once.
7. Serve Shrimp over pasta, cover with sauce.
