Tortilla Soup

Ingredients
See above.This was adapted from Alton Brown's recipe.
Directions
Combine onions, pepper, salt and cumin. Cook until onions soft. Add paste, cook 1 minute. Add in broth and beans and simmer for 20 minutes.

Cut tortillas into strips. Heat skillet to med/high heat with oil. Cook strips in batches until crispy. Serve on top of soup.
