Ingredients
-6 cups flour (I used bread flour)-2 TBS Sugar-4 Tsp yeast- 2 1/2 cups water-4 TBS olive Oil
Directions
-Mix warm water, yeast and sugar allow to stand
-mix salt, and flour
-add 3 TBS oil, and yeast to dry ingredients.
-kneed for 10 min. The dough will be smooth. use the last TBS of oil to oil the bowl and the dough. Cover with a plastic grocery bag and allow to sit for 2 hours.
-I weigh each piece of dough before rolling it out, I get about 74 g per serving of dough making 21 pitas.
- make each piece of dough into a ball and allow to sit for 20 min.
-roll each piece into a circle and bake at 400 for 4 min. Pitas will rise and be soft.
