Sweet Potato & Yam caserole

1 sweet potato (approx. 16 oz or med - large size)1 Yam (approx 16 oz. or med. - large size)butter, salted 1/4 cupmaple syrup 3 TBBrown Sugar 1/3 C unpacked or as desiredPecans 1 C finely choppedMarshmellows, mini approx 2/3 C or as desired1 qt. caserole dish
Clean sweet potato & yams, remove any eyes. Put in microwave approx. 4-5 min. Let cool a few min., then remove insides to food processor. Blend until smooth adding butter, brown sugar and maple syrup until well blended. Put into caserole dish and level. Use a mini food processor or crush the pecans using a rolling pin and wax paper. Cover the caserole with the pecans evenly. Put marshmellows on top in even layer.
Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven on top rack for 15- 20 min. or until marshmellows turn a nice brown.
