Moosalamo Sliders

Ingredients
3oz. LEAN ground beef4oz. LEAN ground turkey2-4 Artichoke hearts, diced, try to find them packed in water. Most are packed in oil. Drain and rinse the oil off.1 fresh, jalapeno pepper, diced (remove seeds to reduce the heat-or not)1/4-1/3 cp. diced sweet onion1/2 med. sweet, yellow bell pepper, sliced1/2 med. tomato, sliced1 Tbl balsamic vinegar (you can white, for a slightly milder taste)1/2 Tbl. EVOO (the darker, the better)Wheat or Multi-grain burger bunsSea salt and cracked black pepper to your taste.
Directions
In a bowl, mix together the beef, turkey, oil and vinegar. Cover, set aside.
Saute' artichoke hearts, onion, jalapeno peppers, add salt and pepper as you saute'. Saute' 3-4 minutes.
Allow veggies to cool slightly, then add to meat mixture. Mix together well. Cover, set aside for 5-6 minutes.
Form 4-6 2" diameter patties. Place on hot grill or cast iron skillet until both sides brown or cooked to your taste.
While sliders are cooking, place bun halves on grill or skillet to lightly brown. Remove from heat.
When meat (slider) is finished browning, place slider on bun, place tomato and bell pepper on top, add a little mustard, not mayo. Enjoy!

NOTE:
To eliminate a little more fat, place cooked meat on paper towels to absorb some more of the fat before placing on bun.
