Lap-band Friendly: Ground chicken Kebab

Ingredients
1 pound Lean Ground Chicken1 large Onion grated or finely minced1 clove of garlic crushed1 large egg beaten2 teaspoons of salt1 teaspoon of pepper1 teaspoon of Turmeric
Directions
Mix the chicken, onions, garlic, egg, salt, pepper and turmeric in a large bowl. Cover and refrigerate. If possible do this the night before to let the flavors blend.

Here's the tricky part....
using metal kebab skewers form the meat around them into a long "sausage" like shape (I'll post pictures later)

Grill over medium high heat 5 minutes per side.

You can also cook these in the oven using the broiler set on the low setting. Same time applies, but check to make sure the meat isn't pink before serving.
