Traditional Lasagna

Ingredients
16 pieces of lasagna noodles (about 16 oz.)1 lb. lean ground beef1 jar spaghetti sauce1/2 cup water16 oz. ricotta cheese2 cups shredded mozarella1/4 cup grated Parmesan2 eggs2 tsp. chopped oregano2 tsp. chopped basil1 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. garlic powder1/4 tsp. black pepper
Directions
1. Brown ground beef; drain
2. Stir in spaghetti sauce and water, allow it to simmer for 10 minutes
3. Cook pasta according to package. Lay flat on aluminum foil to cool.
4. Heat oven to 350 degrees F
5. In large bowl, stir together ricotta cheese, 1-1/2 cups mozarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, oregano, basil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
6. Spread about 1/3 cup sauce on the bottom of a 13x9 baking dish. Arrange 4 pasta pieces lengthwise over sauce, overlapping edges. Spread 1/3 of the cheese mixture over pasta, then spread with 3/4 cup meat sauce.
7. Repeat layers, ending with pasta. Top with remaining meat sauce and sprinkle with the remaining mozarella cheese.
8. Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes until hot and bubbly. Remove foil and bake about 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
