Ingredients
*Butterball Young Turkey, whole*Orange, whole, peeled, medium, 1 serving *Caribbean Jerk Marinade (Lawry's), 4 tbsp *Carrot (fresh), 200 gram(s) Celery, raw, 1 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long)Vegetable Broth, 2.5 cup Lemon Pepper, Bay leaves, Montreal Seasoning, salt, pepper, and other choice spices
Directions
Once thawed, remove giblets and other extras from turkey. Chop carrots, celery, and onion. Add seasonings. Cut orange into wedges. Stuff veggie mix and 1/2 the orange into the bird. Pour can of vegetable broth over bird, making sure to get some inside. Add caribbean jerk seasoning, inside and on top. Bake for 3-4 hours at 325.
My oven cooks hotter, so I turned it down after 2 hours and it was done after 3.
The juice made excellent gravy. For dressing, I made chicken flavored stove top and added the vegetables from inside the bird.
My turkey darkened on top too quickly, so I put a piece of tin foil over the breast, the skin was black, but inside was still juicy.
