Oatmeal Pumpkin Muffins

2 cups Whole Wheat Flour 1 cup Oatmeal 1 cup packed Brown Sugar 2 tsp Cinnamon, ground 2 tsp Pumpkin Pie spice 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Baking Soda 1/2 cup Applesauce, unsweetened 1 can of Pumpkin 1/2 cups Water 1/2 cups Canola Oil1/2 cups Milk, nonfat3 Large Eggs
*Heat oven to 375
*Prepare muffin pan (1, 6 count large and 1 1, 6 count small or 1, 12 count small and 1, 6 count small)
*In large bowl add dry ingredients and mix
*Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and (hand) mix until well blended (see OPTIONAL)
*Fill muffin pan 3/4 full
*Bake for 18 - 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center of muffin comes out clean
**OPTIONAL: Add dark chocolate chips
