Smoky black bean soup

Directions
2 T. vegetable oil2 medium onions1 T minced garlicchilies to taste3 c. cooked black beans, drained2 c. concentrated chicken stock2 c. watersalt and pepper to taste
Cook onions in hot oil until softened. Add garlic and chili powder. And chilies, beans, stock, salt and pepper. Bring to boil, reduce heat to medium low and cook 10 minutes. Puree some soup and add back to pot. Serve with sour cream, cilantro, lime cheese, etc. Serves 4.
