Goushed Meat

Ingredients
2 lbs ground round1 6 oz can tomato sauce3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs1 large egg1/4 -1/2 cup finely chopped onion1/4 cup finely chopped red or green bell pepper1/4 tsp salt1/4 tsp italian seasoning
Directions
Place all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well.

For meat loaf:
divide in half, place in baking dishBake at 350 degrees F for 30 - 45 min depending on the depth of your dish.

For Salisbury Steak:
Use 1/2 cup scoop to measure out 16 (or so) 3 oz portions. Flatten slightly. Bake in 350 degree F oven for 30 min.

For Meatballs:
Use a small cookie scoop to portion out 50 - 60 small meat balls. Brown on stove top until done or bake as above.

This recipe freezes well, before or after cooking and can be adapted to your personal tastes.

You can multiply the recipe up to 4x easily, any more than that becomes difficult to handle the bulk. If you DO make this much I recommend covering your kitchen table or counter with clean vinyl table cloth and just mix it on that. Wash the "cloth" or clean with antibacterial cleaner after you are done.
