1 cup of water 2 cups of precooked wheat kernels 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 cup raisins 1/2 cup chopped pecans 1 tbs. whole anise seed, optional
Mix the water, cooked wheat kernels and spices in a pan and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes and then quickly remove from the heat. Add the raisins, and pecans.
