Asparagus, Chicken and Penne Pasta

Ingredients
1 pound whole wheat pasta2 Tbls. soybean oil (can sub with EVOO)1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite sized pieces4 cloves garlic, minced12 ounces asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1 " pieces1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes3 Tbls. Parmesan cheese grated
Directions
Cook pasta until al dente. Drain, transfer to a large bowl.
Heat 1 tbls. oil in a skillet over medium heat. Saute chicken until firm and browned. REmove from pan. Add remaining tbls of oil to skillet. Cook and stir asparagus and garlic and pepper flakes until asparagus is tender. Stir in chicken and cook for two minutes to blend flavors. Toss pasta with chicken and asparagus mixture. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
