Ingredients
Directions
Cooked Brown Rice, long grain, 8 cup Onions, raw, 1.75 cup, choppedSoy Sauce, .25 cup (divided)Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce & Marinade, 4 tbspFresh minced garlic, .25 cup Olive Oil, 3 tbsp (divided)Snow Peas, frozen, 4 cup1" chunks of Pork Tenderloin 2 lb1/2 tsp salt1/4 tsp of pepper1/2 tsp of garlic
Saute Onions till light brown in one tablespoon of oil. When onions are light brown, add one tablespoon of oil and garlic. Saute on medium low until golden brown.
Add frozen Snow Peas with 1/8 cup of Soy Sauce and 4 tbsp of Teriyaki sauce.
Add salt, garlic and pepper to the cubed pork. Saute until golden brown in 1 tablespoon.
Deglaze pan with 1/8th cup of Soy Sauce. Pour well seasoned meat to the rice mixture and serve.
Note: I cook the brown rice first. 2 cups of dry rice equals 8 cups of cooked rice...I add 2 tablespoons of butter and 1.5 tsp of salt. I also start cubing the meat when the onions are cooking and cook them in a separate pan, both are done around the same time, with the rice as well! Mix and serve with a bottle of Teriyaki Sauce...to add a little extra flavor if needed. (It takes me ten minutes to prep, plus 25 minutes to complete)
