Ingredients
-
2 pounds Beef Round Steak, thinly sliced
1/2 cup and 2 tablespoons Lite Soy Sauce (Kikkoman)
1/4 cup and 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar*
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1/4 cup minced garlic
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1/4 cup sesame oil
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
*You may use a sugar substitute (ie. splenda or truvia) to reduce calories, carbs & sugar.
Directions
MEAT PREP:
Use an eye of the round or similar that you can slice into 2" wide strips at about an 1/8-1/4" thick. Tenderize with back of knife in criss-cross fashion on both sides.
MARINADE PREP:
Mix all ingredients in bowl (EXCEPT MEAT)
Pour into a large freezer bag (ziploc bag, etc.)
BEFORE GRILLING:
Add thinly sliced meat to marinade in the bag
Refrigerate for AT LEAST one hour*
*If you have more time, allow it to soak in marinade for several hours, it will taste EVEN BETTER!
GRILL:
Preheat grill well, then put meat on. Turn when one side is done. Do not turn again until side is done or the meat loses its flavorful juice and becomes too crusty. Serve Medium-Well to Well-Done.
This is great when served with kimchee, rice & mac salad.
